Learning to eat while being banded is hard. When I was first banded I refused o eat out because I just did not know how my body would react. What really helped me learn how to eat was using bowls, baby plates and baby spoons to eat my meals. It got me used to eating slower and taking smaller bites.

When i began eating out I would always order a full menu and tell them to bring me the carryout box with my meal. Didn't really work because I wanted to eat everything there..lol. However, eating appetizers and ordering off the dollar menu made me have more enjoyable meals.

You have to "fail" to reach success! Stay positive and don't give up.

Thank you all for the support. I have started a new today ! Im also gonna start using the daily plate as well. To make up for my poor week I plan to walk a lil longer then i usually do and pick up an extra day this week.

      Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

      Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
