Anyone ever seen it? It has Meryl streep in it.. it's a 7 hour long mini-series. I have a fascination with the Holocaust, maybe because it's so bizarre I can't comprehend it..

Anyway, I bought it and it looks like Sophie's Choice on the cover, but it doesn't say anything about it. I'm just confused. The Pianist is my current favorite, before I find the 7 hours to watch this new(to me, its not new) one I bought just seeing if anyone else has seen it..is it a good movie?

It got 8.5 stars on imdb ("Holocaust" (1978)). According to the user comment, the series is split among the stories of six to eight people over the course of a decade.

I got through about 40 minutes before my sleeping pill kicked in, but so far so good.
