My first one was today and my surgery was 5 weeks ago yesterday May 20th. But I'm sure it depends on the doctor.

I was banded on May 20, and got my first fill on June 23. I have a realize band, and he put 5.5 cc in the 10 cc band. I thought he'd put maybe 1.5 or 2. I don't feel like I have any restriction, which concerns me since I was over half filled the first time

I was banded the same day. I had my post op today and he told me to come back in 2 weeks. I have an appointment on 7/9. So I guess that is 5 weeks.

I have to wait 6 weeks to get my first fill!! I'm 3 weeks post op and can eat reguarly and dont' even feel the band anymore. It's very frustrating to wait that long. I'm in bandster hell.

I was banded on May 21st and I was able to get a fill on June 12th.So that was 3 weeks after. Not sure if that is my doctor's norm. She may have taken pity on me because I told my appetite had come back and with a vengeance!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
