What to do with drunk drivers?

Recommended Posts

Michee - I did not call you ignorant, just what I understood your implied message to be. I did misunderstand. It seems a bit of a strange comment to make though "If you choose to believe..." Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Drunk driving is bad. When I was a couple months old my mom said my dad got real drunk and decided to go somewhere to get more booze and some drugs so he threw me in my baby seat into the car and off he went. He ended up crashing into a telephone pole and nearly killing me :| dumbass

I Would Like To See Drunk Drivers Feel The Pain And Turmoil That They Put Apon Inoccent Familys, australia Is Way To Soft, and Unfortunetly Cant Moniter All The Drunks Out There E.g Evan Taking Away There Licence, they Can Still Drive If There Not Court,if A Drunk Ever Did Anything To My Family I Could Not Forgive Im Sorry To Say,people Need To Learn There Limits With Drinking, its Not A Game, infact,i Would Probably Take Things Into My Own Hands And Take The Drunk Out Of The Picture,so I Hope That Day Never Comes.my Opinion Only,im Sure There Are Those Out There Who Want To Wrap These People In Cotton Wool And Say Every Things O.k,but Reality Is,its Not!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
