Hi everyone. I am not banded yet but have been doing a lot of research. I am in the process of getting all my pre op stuff done. In doing some of my research I found the following wed site. It offers a lot of information and is reasonable priced, trust me this stuff can run some money. So I offer the following link in hope it will help some of you. Just check with your doctor as to what you should eat and when. :blushing:

The Unjury site is great. Their customer support is also wonderful.

Email them about having your Unjury sent automatically and you get a savings, I think it was $6 off of the order.

I had the wrong flavor sent once and they were quick to send a replacement and a shipping label for the return.

Be sure to order the samples to make sure you like it. I ordered a bunch of stuff from them for mucho $$$ and can't drink any of it. It does not agree with me at all.

Anyone wants to buy it from me I can give them a good price! Email me.

Hi Sadie

I am sorry unjury did not agree with you. Please know that you can get a full refund from us. That is never a problem. Just email

service@unjury.com for details, or call our toll free number

1 800 517 5111 Mon thru Fri 9 to 6 Eastern time.

You can also call and talk to our dietitians...you might find that there is some way to use the product that works for you. While we generally get great comments on taste and tolerability, we understand that everyone is different.

Does that help?

Kind regards

Jerome

I am 4 days post op (started full liquids today) and I just had my first Unjury shake (I didn't try Protein Powder prior to surgery....it was the one thing I neglected to do). I had (and am currently drinking) Unjury chocolate with probably about 3/4s of a tablespoon of organic Peanut Butter (blended in my magic bullet). It is unbelievably delicious. Its more than just good for a Protein Drink, its just plain yummy. And its great because you can order samples from the website at a very low cost so you can try it before ordering a lot. Anyways, as far as the diet and nutrition part of the band goes, the Protein Shakes were what I was most concerned about. I was going to try a bunch of different Protein powders and drinks but I'm so glad I found Unjury. No need to try anything else. It is really a quality product.

I'm a convert, too, isaviolinist. I had a bad experience with Protein shakes umteen years ago during and after cancer surgery and treatments.

Generally the Protein powders were bulky, grainy and didn't dissolve well. I won't even mention the taste! (where's the barfing smiley when you need it!)

On a lark one day I ordered 4 each of the unjury samples. Wow. I have been impressed.

The strawberry sorbet with a banana smoothie is very awesome!

I had to actually hide them from my husband! He was using the chocolate for his morning Breakfast drink!

I even toss a scoop of unjury chocolate powder into 8 oz of 1% milk and yahoo...chocolate milk...very good!

Love Unjury! It's a constant item in my weight loss journey. The unflavored is good to add Protein to just about anything and the chocolate it so good! Its like having some nestle's chocolate quick if you use vanilla soy milk. Even with just plain Water its good too =)

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
