Went to the Dr for 2 week check up!

I had lost 8 pounds since my surgery! Best part was this: I told him how I was going through major withdrawal from my diet coke. He laughed and said that I could have it if I poured it in a glass and let the fizz diminish, then sip on it. I could have seriously kissed him! So, today I opened a cold can of diet coke and poured it in a glass-no ice-and after it stopped fizzing I have sipped on it all morning. It was Heaven! He also said I would get a fill in one month, I can't wait!

I had gone without soda for a long time, just in case.

I have a few sips here and there and it tastes SO GOOOOODDD!!!

But, dont' drink it while eating. Drinking fluids during the meal can cause a pb.

I drink before my meal. I tend to Water load and have a large glass of calorie free beverage and wait 1/2 hour to an hour after my meal.

I never thought I'd get used to not drinking during my meal, but I did!

i wish i could get my taste for diet coke (cherry to be exact) back... it just doesnt taste the same ... :tongue:
