Dallas/Ft. Worth Lap Band Doctors

I am considering the lap band procedure and want to know who you think is the best surgeon in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. I am interested in pre and post care, as well as the length of time the doctor has been performing this procedure. I appreciate any help you can offer.

Baylor has one of the highest rated Weight Loss Programs in the US (and probably world). The six doctors there have done over 3500 surgeries. They have one of the lowest risk rates in the US due to their extensive program. I have used Dr. McCarty for gallbladder surgery and really liked him. My SO is a nurse and speaks highly of Dr. McCarty, Dr. Kuhne, Dr. Arnold, Dr. Nicholson. So any of those would be highly recommended.

It would be hard to say who's THE BEST. Dr Cribbins gets lots of praise, Dr Hamm does too. Dr Benevides has probably been one of the longest running. Dr. Provost is highly praised, Dr. Carter too. I used Dr Veninga and just love him and his staff. We've got quite a group here in the metroplex.
