I am getting close to completing my 6 month supervised weight loss program..YEAH!! I know my insurance covers the surgery for the band but I actually just thought about the fills being covered. For those that have already had fills...does your insurance cover those?

My BC/BS PPO has covered them all so far.

I'd like to know the answer to that too. I think I'll just call my insurance and ask them. I am attending a seminar on Wednesay in Phoenix. Then an appt with my PCP for a referral. I don't know if I have to wait 6 months or not. My insurance says PCP just has to prove medically necessary but I don't know yet how he will do that. Have to wait and see. I hope to be banded soon. I asked this question to my doctor. He told me that if the insurance company covered the surgery, they would cover the fills too.
