so i have that other post of boobies. that is just the start of my body image issues right now.

i am having a really hard time. especially here lately. first, my girls are about gone...great. but here is the thing. i know i have slimmed down all over. i now have collar bones...kinda cute i must say. weird to see, but cute. my arms are slimming down, my legs are too!

while i know i have lost weight in my stomach area, its driving me nuts! this is where i carry my weight. but i have lost this much and barely dropped a pant size because of my stupid freakin gut rolls! and now, its just starting to hang worse and nastier then before! yes, i have some serious issues, i know....

i am getting frustated. everyone talks about buying new clothes, my dh says go buy some new pants, your butt is very saggy in those...yes well, i have no ass, and yes, my pants are very loose in the butt and the legs...but....i have these nasty rolls up front.

i dont even know what the point of this post is... mainly to vent about my stupid body shape i suppose. i am at a point right now, that even knowing that i will eventually get it all fixed thanks to the expensive man w/ a knife, its not helping me rgiht now!

i know i really need to keep being positive. its just so hard when i know how much i have lost and i go try on new pants, and nope, nothing, natta, zip, zilch. still cant get into a smaller size. and nobody understands! well, nobody here with me anyways!

want so bad,

i can SO relate. even after losing almost 150 pounds i still have a large stomach.

cardio helped me drop the tummy more.

i go to the expensive man with the knife the end of this month to take care of my excess skin and fat...

want_so_bad,

I too can relate. My problem is my huge butt. It is hard to find pants to fit properly. The waist is huge and the crotch area is too tight when I sit down. I thought I was the only one who had gone down only one size. I know it will happen for us so hang in there.

JP:smile:

We can all only be the best we can be too and we all have figure problems.

When I look at picturs of people's bums (lol) in the PS before and after ads, I have the BEFORE butt, even after all those months of running, squatting, lunging and dieting. I will always have saddlebags and cellulite.

But really, people dont look at you as parts. Only you look at you like that. Its the whole package, not one bit of you that makes you attractive or unattractive and you CAN fix it to a large degree anyway, but learning to come to terms with yourself is important.

What I found though, is that I had NO idea of my final shape until I hit a normal BMI and I Have changed more in the 6 or 7kg since I hit "normal" than the entire 30kg before that. Losing weight at the end of the journey is VERY rewarding.

I went shopping the other day and was surprised to fit into size 14 pants, but now I feel fat. Our minds do the strangest things to us! So today I'm wearing my "fat" pants to remind me how I was. The weight loss has slowed down for me...stopped actually so I'm feeling down about it right now.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
