LJM-Thanks, I went "window" shopping today for a leather jacket I promised myself when I reached goal. Didn't find one but had fun trying them on. It's so much fun to shop when you are in "normal" sizes.

HarleyNana: Did you have a breast lift? I am a little worried about what my breasts will look like. My PS said they would be perky, but smaller. I've lost a lot of volume and it seems like the last 10 pounds as taken even more. I hear that with a BL you're higher, but you don't have the fullness on top. Is that how yours are? If you had it to do all over, would you have a little augmenation? Hope this isn't too personal, but I need some input from someone whose been there!

Karey, put it this way, from the way it's looking I won't be going bra-less :), they're a little firmer, but not enough to go without a bra. I know it's too soon to judge, 12 days, but I don't think it's what I was hoping for at all. I knew I wouldn't have the fullness without the implants, but I had hoped for much more than what I have, because I had plenty to do it with. My doctor did say I could add the implants at a later date, but I hate being put to sleep, absolutely hate it. Plus he said there is a certain amount of work involved with the implants, which I'm not crazy about either. DH says it's my choice, but not one I'd make any time soon, LOL.

As for the tummy, I'm already loving it.

Angelnurse, my doctor told me on my 1 week post op visit I could wear spanks or a regular "tight" garment from target. I was put in a garment after surgery, with a zipper on the side, but it was high wasted and cut me in to, if it had been a normal waste I would have kept using it, but it was so uncomfortable, I still have whelps around my waist from wearing it.

Nana,

That's too bad about the garment, I live in the one I got from my doc. It feels weird when I take it off after my shower, like everything is going to fall out. I can start to wear it only during the day next Friday, but I think I'll wear it as long as possible. It helps with the swelling and I like the support. Sorry about the welts.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
