shoulder pain

Recommended Posts

I had my second fill today. I am now up to 6.5cc's. Everything was fine but Dr. couldn't find the port in his office so I have many pin pricks in me right now. We went down to amblitory surgery and put me under a flo scope (don't know how to spell it) and there it was. This time I was laying down so it was much easier. It was fun watching the pictures, He first put me at 7cc's then had me drink some chalky stuff there was too much restriction so he took out some and it all went down just fine. I say it!!!!!!!!!

But for the reason I am posting tonight is>>>>Did anyone have shoulder pain after. I was fine then when driving home (3 hrs) It started. My left shoulder is hurting pertty bad. I have a Icey hot patch on now and have taken liquid tylenol. Anyone else have this??:paranoid

Terri

ps. I am down another 13lbs:banana :D :banana :D

Very good loss, Terri. If you're losing, why did he do a fill?? Usually the criteria is if you ARE NOT losing.. hmm..

Shoulder pain after a fill is something I'm not sure I've ever experienced or heard of, but with that aggressive a fill, who knows? I'd certainly let him know if it doesn't subside pretty quickly.

I had NO restristion before the new fill. I was dieting like I have done soooo many times before. I know I can diet and lose weight but I can't seem to keep it up for long. The band it my new tool for this.

It would be to your advantage to know the brand and size of your band. Glad you got a fill. I hope it's working well for you now.

My shoulder is better today. Just a little twing every now and then. I am on a liquid diet for 2 days. It has been fine and I am not at all hungrey so I guess the fill worked. I am going to go easy when I can eat again. Maybe eat mushy stuff for a day or so.

Thank you so much for your support.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
