You'll get told again and again that weightloss is up and down. The ups suck but the great thing about the surgery is the downs are coming back!

I weigh myself in the morning after I Pee and I’m in my nightgown. That seems to produce fairly consistent weight with an overall downward trend. Some days it is still up though and I just ignore those little fluctuations unless it lasts Several days which it never has.

I weigh myself every morning(bad I know) in my panties after I pee before I shower. Every now and then I'm brain dead tired and weigh in my nightgown and it's almost a pound (sheesh I know right?!) And it wakes me right up and I catch my mistake and re-weigh.

I do have weight up days though, they are few and far between but they happen. I take them on the chin and just keep on trucking. I know it will get better.

Congratulations on your surgery! You are now one of use (those wearing a sleeve no matter what)!
I had a sleeve done in 2014. Unfortunately, I gained all my weight back and added to it! I’m not sharing that to discourage you or something I am proud of. But, I too have been results oriented my entire life. I have been an expert at loosing weight fast! If I could make one suggestion it would be to follow the prescribed food plan and focus on your journey! Losing the weight will happen naturally and you will have developed the tools and habits for the weight to be gone forever!
I am beginning the next step of my journey: a SADI-S procedure. I am 61 and I will never give-up trying!

Thank you for sharing that. I am 67 and this is my first weight (and I hope last) Bariatric surgery. Good luck with your next procedure and don't give up!

Having gall bladder surgery in a few days and I so hope the recovery is easier than the one from the modified DS! I could use a bit of luck/pep talk for a change. I'm starting to be able to walk around without experiencing dizziness, but it would be great if the random pain in my chest and abdomen would go away!!

      Today was rough...
I've been experiencing a headache all day today that just won't go away. I'm thinking it's now progressing into a migraine. Does anyone else get headaches from taking vitamin B12? I did some research and learned that usually a lack of B12 causes headaches. But I've noticed when I take it, I have reoccurring headaches. 😫
