I did not have those kinds of issues but I have heard people who have. Did you try going back to the previous food stage?

Hi yes it's normal for some of us, at this stage eating was like having to do a chore I didn't want to do. It does get better this is the phase we're you loose the most weight (the first 6 months) so take full advantage of it. I ate foods that were easy and tasted good to get me interested in eating. If eating is causing you discomfort go back to your previous stage but really you should be able to eat without to much discomfort.

I had very very little interest in eating food the first 3 MONTHS. My first 2-3 WEEKS i had zero interest.

The aversion slowly lessened (as did the frequency), but there are still days here and there now where im like, meh.

i’m 3.5+ years out.

I will say though while I didn’t have any interest in eating the food, i thoroughly enjoyed cooking it, looking at pictures of it, taking pics of it, researching recipes online and in magazines, watching others eat it, etc. One of my favourite things to do (back then and to this day) is to read restaurant menus. Yeah, i know, kinda weird.

I live alone so boring stuff like salads or yogurt or soup work just fine for me. When I go out to restaurants I usually order so I have leftovers for another day. I'm so glad Whole Foods reopened their hot food bars. I go there and shop for a couple days at a time and then I don't have to cook.
