I’m 8 days post op. I really haven’t had much pain. Over the weekend I’ve been coughing a lot due to my allergies. Yes I have a pillow across my stomach. I do hold it really tight while coughing. Between yesterday and this morning I’m feeling sharp pain on my right side. Just a little note. There was some complications with my gastric sleeve surgery 11/01. What supposed to be a 2 hour surgery ended up being a 4 hour surgery. Has anyone experienced this? PS: I have called and left message with my doctor.

I had pain on my right side for weeks, but yours could be something else. Glad you are checking with your doctor. Let us know!

I have heard of people with side pain but I would have suggested calling dr too. Hope you hear back from them soon.
