I'm new here and my gastric sleeve surgery is scheduled for September 28...any one else?

Mine is also 28 September! How are you feeling about it? I’m nervous, scared, and hopeful all at the same time.

I'm September 13. I'm so excited and scared and nervous!! What are you all doing to keep distracted? I'm watching a lot of TV, which is really unusual for me. My parents are coming into town this weekend to help me after surgery.

Hi. I don't have an exact date, but my surgeon told me it will most likely be in November. I just have a few tests I have to do. Have already done some of them.

Summerseeker, I hear you! I had a 12 month wait for my health cover because it's an already existing condition. It was long, frustrating and nudged my depression about, but once I had the surgeon/dietician appointments at the end of July, it got a lot easier. I just needed the "this is definitely happening" confirmation that a surgery date gives.
