I'm September 13. I'm so excited and scared and nervous!! What are you all doing to keep distracted? I'm watching a lot of TV, which is really unusual for me. My parents are coming into town this week

  • Mine is also 28 September! How are you feeling about it? I’m nervous, scared, and hopeful all at the same time.

Hi. I don't have an exact date, but my surgeon told me it will most likely be in November. I just have a few tests I have to do. Have already done some of them. :)

I'm excited. :)

September 22nd for me, so we're not too far apart. Not long to go now, good luck!

I am not the most patient person , its already been 6 months waiting. These last few are killing me. I want to be thin now ! I have visions of coming out of the UK winter a butterfly. I see my 63 year old self sashaying down the street .....

Summerseeker, I hear you! I had a 12 month wait for my health cover because it's an already existing condition. It was long, frustrating and nudged my depression about, but once I had the surgeon/dietician appointments at the end of July, it got a lot easier. I just needed the "this is definitely happening" confirmation that a surgery date gives.
