I am almost 6 month post op and have minimal sagging skin so far, which is amazing, but I have lost a lot of muscle mass and my famously bubbly butt is now saggy on the bottom. No matter what’s underwear I choose, I get a four-butt. Anyone who has had Four-boob would understand — LOL. I have a second butt at the top of my thighs that pours out of my underwear haha. It is not all skin, it is just not held up by muscle anymore and is falling. It is not like “white girl butt”, because it still has *some* volume to it (my butt is not flat). Anyone else? Any ideas how to minimize this?

Are you doing any weight lifting to help?

I have been having issues with my upper back since November. I stopped exercising in Jan/Feb, because it is not just pain, it is numbness, and the only thing that helps is resting it. I work on my feet all day so I am getting exercise and cannot fully “rest” my back. I will be starting physical therapy soon. Prior I was doing lots of butt exercise. I think I would still have the issue even if I was lifting, because my butt is so much smaller. On women, muscle is only part of why you get a bubble butt. Most of it is how your body naturally distributes fat. It certainly can look more lifted with more muscle mass, but it doesn’t give it the fullness or shape.

From one four-butt to another 🤣:

I had a pretty good fat-girl butt, but now it is some muscle (I do weight train, run, walk, etc.) with folds of flabby skin. The folds get caught under my tailbone and are so uncomfortable. Underwear provides the four-butt look. I continue to work on muscle back there, but I am scheduled for a lower body lift at the end of May. I am hoping the extra skin and associated flab will be gone and he can find some fat to supplement whatever shape I will have left. I suspect time alone would help with the skin, but otherwise, exercise and plastic surgery are probably the only way to correct the issue.

Good luck to your extra butt-ed self! 😬😊💕

This made me laugh so hard...Just this morning I was complaining that my fat girl butt is going faster than my fat girl gut - NOT how I would plan this if I could! 🤣

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
