OMG - the last 10 pounds!

OMG! I had no idea how hard the last 10 pounds would be. I've been within 10 pounds of my goal since before Thanksgiving. I currently have 4 pounds to go. It's been up and down (literally). I never really hit a stall along my journey until these last 10 pounds. My loss had slowed but I could count on at least a 5-6 pound loss a month. But, oh no, not now. I had major surgery in December so I didn't expect much in December but 6 pounds in nearly 3 months SUCKS. Thanks for listening and I know I will get to goal. I just hope it's before summer gets here.

I know this pain all too well. I rollercoastered all through December trying to shed the last 10 pounds. I finally hit that goal this morning after 6ish weeks of bouncing up and down. You will get there!

The last 10 are really hard, I was already a slow loser and I had to push to lose the final 10. I went to the gym and forced myself to take classes 4 days a week, I rode my bike and went on walks at least 5 days a week. I also ate really clean and drank a lot of Water.

That was on top of my regular gym schedule of 4-5 days a week. I promised myself that I wouldn’t give up, it was hard but It was worth it.

I really miss going to the gym. I never thought I’d say that!

yep - the closer you are to goal, the harder it gets. I used to roll my eyes at these never-been-obese women who would b*tch and scream about losing five lbs or ten lbs. Now I totally get it! It is a BEAR!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
