Am I Slow/Behind Or On Target/Normal Range With Weight Loss?

I Have Loss 89lbs Since 03/03/2020 And I Just Feel Like Im Losing Slow🤦🏽‍♀️ I Feel I Would Lose More If I Work Out And Eat On Schedule I Eat Once Sometimes Twice A Day And Mostly Drink Water And Eat Ice All Day Im Never Hungry I Stopped Drinking My Protein Shakes Because Im Not Interested. What Should I Be Eating? Most Solid Foods Hurt Still Like No Matter How Small The Bite Or Slow I Eat and How Much I Chew It Feel Like A Rock In My Chest 😩

‼️ALSO I get sick alot Due To Being Dehydrated Or Lack Of food And When I Say Sick I Feel Dizzy And Nauseated Often But Its So Hard To Eat And As Much Water As I Drink I Dont Understand how I Still Am Often Dehydrated or Feel Dehydrated, my 3 month check up is next week I wonder if my surgeon will be upset with my blood work and numbers he says he can tell what patients are dehydrated and malnourished and I have Not taken ANY Vitamins 🤦🏽‍♀️‼️

89lb in three months is not slow at all, You need to reset your expectations otherwise you will be continually disappointed.

What does your surgeon/dietician recommend you be eating and managing the pain? If you can't eat pureed or soft foods in lieu of solid go back to Protein Shakes and make sure you at getting at least 60ms of Protein, probably a little more wouldn't hurt given your current weight. Less is not more in this instance you need to be getting some calories and protein.

And for goodness sake start with your Vitamins you are compromising your health here.

Have you checked in at all with your surgeon/dietician before scheduled updates? If not, you probably should have doesn't sound like it going well for you at all. When is your catch up?

89 lbs in three months? That's ridiculously fast! It took me almost a YEAR to lose that much!

you really need to see your surgeon. First of all, you should NOT be only eating once a day. I ate at least three times a day - sometimes more (I sometimes had a snack). And yes - most people do lose their hunger for the first several months after surgery - that part is completely normal. And for 99% of us, it comes back sometime during that first year. Mine came roaring back at five months out. Like you, I had pretty much zero interest in food the first few months. But that's one of the beauties of this thing - you'll never lose weight this fast in your life since you're never hungry and could care less about food!

drink your Protein Shakes. You need the nutrition or you're going to get sick. If you don't like them, then try another brand.

dehydration does make people feel sick. How much Fluid are you drinking a day?

You gotta get Protein that's number 1.

Get your Proteins and Vitamins in or else you'll continue to feel like crap and it'll only get worse! And I'm 4 months post op and have only lost 67 pounds since my surgery so you're losing weight at a FAST pace, not a slow one!

You are jeopardizing your health big time! MUST take your Vitamins, eat your Proteins & drink your Water. You don’t seem to understand program. Especially if you are questioning that your loss of 89 lbs in that short period of time is slow! I hope your surgeon addresses these issues with you. Please take this seriously. Your health is most important.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
