Hi, new here! I’m 3 months post op - traditional duodenal switch surgery with Ultimate Bariatrics out of Fort Worth Texas and my stats are as follows. Highest weight 333, day of surgery weight 309, and current weight 265. Im curious how much everyone else had lost by their 3 month post op? Thanks!

@TXDS I had the traditional DS.

At 3 mos, I’d lost about 45 lbs. Looks like we’re just about the same. ?

I'm almost three months. I had the Loop DS. My highest weight was 389. Surgery weight was 321. And I'm 271 now so... I've lost 50 pounds since surgery. So it looks like it's a similar pace.

3 months from beginning my pre-op think I'd lost 80lbs

I am looking at Dr Roberts or Dr Novack in that same practice. Both seem to be highly qualified and well regarded by patients.

I had my DS on 3/30/21. Surgery day weight was around 300. This morning I was 228. So that is 3 months +17 days. My initial weight from the first appointment weigh in was 324. I lost about 10lbs during the preop diet. So 95lbs total so far. I have had a steady loss of between 3-5lbs average per week since surgery date.
