    Nausea

I’m 5 months post op Duodenal Switch. For the last week I’ve experienced nausea early in the morning and again in the evening. I’ve thrown up a few times. I haven’t been sick at all since surgery, so I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this months after surgery? Thanks!

    Hungry after BPD-DS

I’m 5 months post op and I wasn’t hungry at all the first few months. I would contact your dr/nutritionist if you feel something is out of the ordinary.

    3 day post ip

I’m 5 months post op DS. I didn’t have the same issues with my bowels, but for water I kept a shot glass with me and drank it every 15 min. I did that for probably two weeks and it really helped. Good luck!
  8. My surgeon requires all patients do a 3 week pre-op diet, I lost 14 pounds. Clear soups 8 oz daily, 2 protein shakes, and you can have 1 sugar free jello or sugar free pudding a day. I had the traditional duodenal switch in January ‘20.
