I can say at 100% i didn't cheat... for either WLS (band or sleeve)

Don't beat yourself up over this. It will be more important not to cheat AFTER your surgery than before. You are NOT a failure--you are looking to change your life with WLS..that makes you a winner!

The only thing you should be disgusted with is choosing vegemite to cheat with! (just kidding, sorta...?)

Vegemite an Australian speciality....something you have to try from a young age.....for those who have it later in life its pretty disgusting. I first tried it when I was 12, after we migrated to Australia. It wasn't pleasant at all. A bit like marmite or promite but seems to be a whole stronger in taste.

I'm thinking from the sound of it, I might be allergic to anything ending in "mite."

It's a spread you put on bread or crumpets. We also use it in soups and stews.

But just get back on the right path and quit beating yourself up about one sandwich

4 weeks is a very long pre-surgery liquid diet phase, I would clarify with them if it is 4 weeks PRE surgery, it might be 4 weeks of liquids in total before and after surgery... just check.

My husband is from England and eats it all the time. :) I can’t do it though. Maybe after surgery. ?
