I am strongly considering having my surgical procedure done without anesthetic. Since cleaning myself up, I've been very cautious about taking any sort of drug or using any substance that alters my perception.

I have a high tolerance for pain and I'm refusing all pain medication. I made the same choice a couple years back when they had to remove a foreign object from my rectum. Lots of pain at first, but after about 30 minutes it was tolerable.

Has anyone else done this?

I say go for it dude. Why not just get a mirror and do the surgery yourself. You could save thousands of dollars! (DISCLAIMER!!!! I am not a doctor nor do I play one on TV and I did not stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night either)

I'm actually developing a DIY liposuction apparatus. It uses a Dyson vacuum and a series of adapters, with a catch bucket for all the fat.

As an ex-auto mechanic, I got the idea after bleeding brakes one day.

This is probably my last post. The moderator put me on double-secret internet probation. I just got back, and I fear my salty language is going to get me a permanent kick in the taint. I just gotta be me, but I tend to melt a lot of snowflakes. Surgery postponed until this Wednesday because blood sugar too high. I'd ask for advice, but I'm about to get banned for life.
