How much calcium citrate does everyone take?

I swear my nutritionist told me one, twice a day. But now that I’m actually supposed to start my regimen after surgery, the paper she wrote me says 2 twice a day. Seems like a lot. Or maybe I’m just bitter cause it’s going to take a lot to get me through a month ? I’ll do whatever I have to, just wondering!

I take 1500mg per day. I usually break them up 500mg 3X per day. My current preference is calcium chews in fruit flavors.

I take two soft chews per day, 500 mg each/total 1,000 mg /day

650 3x a day. I've been told that we shouldn't take iron within 2 hours of calcium due to malabsorption.
