I did a bad thing... please help!

Recommended Posts

I had gastric sleeve surgery April 15 2019. As I write this it is April 20 (6days). I just made a big error by eating two crinkle fries ( well chewed) The first one was ok and the second was going down very very slow down my throat and I was drinking liquids to push it down. As of right now, my stomach is not in pain. My stomach feels fine. My main concern is that it feels that it is stuck further down my esophagus. I’m drinking tea and Water to help it go down and I’m very scared and nervous. I totally regret it and I definitely learned my lesson. Never again! Please can anyone help ! What should I do?

Nothing to do. Just let it go down. It may be that it has already gone down but your esophagus was a little irritated.

You'll be fine. It will either come back up or go down.

Yeah you learn after. that while you can control some things you're fatalistic about others. Sur it doesn't sparkle, glitter is over-rated in the first place, but you can And will still with a smooth steady flow. You are still functioning, , your pilot light is still lit, and you realize it was all due to plan, God's, not yours necessarily. But Baby it is still a pretty good life so smile😝 at it all!

If you get a pain in your sternum area that's normal. When I eat fast or a bit too much I get a pain in my sternum area. I have to walk it off and I don't consume anything (solids or liquids) until the pain subsides. It does after awhile of walking it off.

Thank you for all the post! I’m relieved. Afterward my stomach was growling and I had the runs after some warm Soup so I believe it came out. My esophagus and sternum feel a little sore and my stomach growls here and thee when I drink liquids but with no pain. Thanks a bunch!

We all learn by trial and error unless someone tells you in advance. I am thankful for the info and support I get on here. Although my course through May not be the same as someone else, there is still much info to be gl3an4d. And fe3l so good when Ms X or Mr Z had this, tells me,i won't die either!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
