So I had my sleeve done yesterday!!! Feeling ok today. Much better than expected. Nothing by mouth yet. Feeling thirsty, slight nausea. But feeling blessed to be up and moving around.

Congrats on having the strength and bravery to have surgery. I’m 6 months out of sleeve and down 120lbs. Stay strong things will get easier and life will be much better

  • Glad you're doing okay. I was surprised at how much easier it was than expected. I was nauseous on Day #1, but felt good and was up and walking. Take care and good luck on your WLS journey.

  • Congrats!!! I'm 5 days out and doing fairly well. I am sick of the fluids though, can't wait to purees! The walking and sipping water helps. Best to you on your journey! Sent from my SM-N960U using

Post op day 2. Fluids are giving me major indigestion. It hurts so bad. Any thoughts

@Briswife15 broth, ice water, crystal light

Have you noticed any difference when you sip warm broth versus the ice water? I am 18 days post op, and ice cold fluids cause spasms. I get pain if I gulp rather than several baby sips. I drink a lot of Crystal Light in cool, but not cold water. Try varying the temperature and take smaller sips.

Oh, I also found the lemonade Crystal Light gave me pouch pain. I switched to fruit punch and citrus and they are less acidic and irritating than lemonade.

@briswife15 omg... that’s what it feels like, some sort of spasm. Ok, noted. Will try warm rather than cold & hold off on the lemonade crystal light.

Congrats and keep us posted on how u r doing....
