HI, I am having mine on April 3rd. I started my preopt diet today. this will be a long week before i have it. I've had many surgeries so that's not new. But many new lifestyle changes will be new and learning how to eat differently . my husbands sister had it 8 weeks ago, and is doing well lost 50 lbs so far . I'm getting out some new clothes i bought to keep me focused of all the new clothes i will be able to wear again! Good luck :)

Close! I just found out today that my RNY surgery has been rescheduled for 4/11. It was originally set up for 6/06 but there was a cancellation :)

Hi Flintstones, i just had mine on April3rd just got home tonight. Surgery went well, recovery is in process. I'm glad to be home! Bed was not very comfortable, but yes it's true about the gas pains and nauseous, I'm sipping my watering trying to get some down. I't is like any other surgery with pain and other, but you denfenitly need to go slow on the fluids. So the healing starts. Will posted and good luck to you! i've only taken tylenol so far.
