6 days post gastric sleeve high pulse

Recommended Posts

That sounds normal at just 6 days out because your body is still recovering from major surgery.

I'm the same out as you and I have this exact issue. I try to sit up straight a lot and walk when I can. I am still have horrible inscision pain... but the sitting up straight seems to help.

My incision pain is bearable I have eight gashes all at healing well just a bit sore when I searched for reasons for fast pulse a lot of places talked of a leak and now that has me worried, I don't get winded just sitting down but even walking to the kitchen I can feel my heart beat a lot faster

You're always a little weak, tire easily and a little sore. Your body has gone through a lot recently, be easy on YOU, and daily things should smooth out and get better. If you had a leak, honey, you would KNOW IT, major pain and you would be more than simply winded. I have a stricture in my pouch(rny) and ulcers in my small intestine, and neither are so. polite as your problems. But I am getting better, just a more bumpy trek than average.

Are you getting enough Water? It sounds like you might be a little dehydrated. Do you have a fever? High heart rate is also a sign that you could be getting an infection.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
