I know, I know I know.....NOT ANOTHER STALL POST!!??!!

i promised myself I wouldn't post one of these, I was prepared for the stall, it is happening, but I have a question...

did anyone put weight on during their stall?

i was at a rugby tournament all weekend, watched what I ate, took in my fluids, took in my Protein, my exercise was down ( only 5 miles a day compared to my 8 - 10 that I normally do) Yet somehow managed to gain 1.6lbs over the weekend, so I'm just curious if anyone else experienced this during their stall?

thanks.

The fact that you gain weight doesn’t mean that you gain fat you probably gain muscle mass happen to me didn’t understand it until my doc explaining it to me try to measure your fat% and your muscle mass

Very true, I have a nutritionist appt next Monday so I'm going to ask if I can step on their fancy machine and see where my muscle mass is vs pre surgery.

thanks

Was it hot at the tournament? You could just be retaining Water from the heat.

But to answer your question, yes I have gained weight during a stall--1.6 pounds also to be exactly.

I gain and lose almost 3 pounds with my period every month:) Also, if I eat a lot of salty stuff, the scale ticks up for a few days. It's all Water. No worries!

Gains during a "stall" while working out... totally normal.

Body fat% is what needs to be watched as well. (as stated above, but I hammer on this point SO OFTEN!)

Just stick to your plans, hit your metrics and keep exercising and it'll eventually turn around.

I just gained 2 but I had heavily salted movie popcorn (I know! I know! Terrible!) and I'm annoyed at myself. I didn't go through all this pain to waste my life eating movie popcorn. #lessonlearned

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
