Getting real!

I had my second dietician appointment today..lost 7 lbs! I have a letter of support (tomorrow), endoscopy (June 15), and my last dietician appointment (July 6), then it's off to the insurance company for pre-approval!

Fingers crossed I have no issues getting a letter of support, and I don't drop anymore weight (I have to maintain or I drop my BMI to 39).

Penciled in tentatively for July 23rd or July 30th.

Started this Journey May 10th, man it's going fast!

Man, I'm jealous! I had my first real appointment way back in early January, and I'm not even to my next surgeon's appointment yet... I don't see him again until mid July! I guess it's just the product of being in a very small market with only a few surgeons, all of whom take vacations in the summer. But I'm ready to go and still thinking, will it be late summer? Will it be the fall? Will it ever happen?

I guess it's just the product of being in a very small market with only a few surgeons, all of whom take vacations in the summer. But I'm ready to go and still thinking, will it be late summer? I think the only reason mine went quick was because my insurance has no "waiting period", and I got everything done ASAP. They scheduled everything for me (excpet psych). I just got my letter of support, so my 2 lasts are the endo and my 3rd nutrition visit. I have to call tomorrow to make my pre-op pcp medical clearance. My new and official date is July 25. Fingers crossed I don't drop any weight between now and then.
