Finally discovered running

I'm not a runner (unless being chased or to a flight I'm late for)

It does not make me feel good like it does for some and my knees quietly thank me

but I just had an epiphany when I realized that running is an easier way to make the miles pass faster on the treadmill so I can do other workouts like much needed squats. I definitely will alternate running and walking

But Im kind of mad I just figured it out

But I probably could have never done it prior to surgery anyway...

Anyone else had a eureka exercise moment?
