Rude Surgeon??

Recommended Posts

Has anyone ever left their surgeon post-op because they were extremely rude? I left mine after I went in with pain. My pain was completely dismissed and because I had gained 20 lbs back after 4 years, he screamed at me for messing up his surgery. Then he stormed out of the room and told me not to come back until I had lost that weight. Completely non professional and a jerk.

9 yrs. out

Wow. Don't blame you at all for looking for another doctor. I hope your next one is much, much more compassionate.

My rude surgical person; letter written to my PCP

Thank you for your referall of Ms

***** to my office. I will perform her hysterectomy if she ever achieves 250 pounds. I do not expect to see her again in my office for this reason.

Pardon me but I took it to mean Why did you send this fat cow to me? I'm too special to Give this person any surgery.

Jokes on him, I've had general surgery 3 times since then, never a problem with anesthesia and healed like champ, better than most other people.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
