Yes, OMG it's the best and it's free. You can log what you eat/drink and it breaks down the Protein, carbs and fats so you know what your intake was. The reminders can be set however you want and it pops up as a subtle tone when it goes off on my phone.

awesome what is it called again? I am trying to look it up now lol

In Corpus...so glad I did this. I don't regret this one bit. Started my journey in Jan, had my surgery in May. It was the pits having to wait, but it's good practice with eating, sipping, etc.
Answering your question to ThickGirl5683, I'm one month post now. I drink my liquids just fine. The sipping stopped about 2 weeks post. Thankfully! Still can't chug, but you can drink good. It is hard to cram the liquids and trying to get your food in for the day. It can be done though...and it gets easier every day.
Congrats on your journey hon. Be blessed!!

I am going to that same place except my surgeon is his partner Dr.Gopal

I had a follow up with Dr Gopal this last time. Do you like him? He's nice, but I didn't take to him as well as Stegemann. Nevertheless, you're in a great office/team.

He is real nice. Very thorough explains the procedure well... Made me feel comfortable. I am just really nervous and worried about getting a leak.

I'm in Houston, too (Katy). My pre-op is tomorrow and my surgery August 1 at Memorial Hermann Memorial City hospital. My surgeon is Dr. Primomo. Anyone else use him? A friend highly recommended him and so far I am pleased.

I am from League City, Tx. I received notice this morning that I have my approval, so my surgery date is 08/16/17! I am so happy that I will be getting the VSG, and getting rid of my Realize band that has NEVER worked. Dr. Du, in Webster and his team are super! They have been very helpful, and I am looking forward to the day when I can say that I am no longer large challenged!

Hello fellow Texans!

I'm from El Paso. I had my VSG October 2016, and have recently hit my goal. Good luck to all and best wishes for a happier, healthier new life!

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
