Hi,

I am in the same boat. I had to wait about three weeks for my 1st appt. and I just completed my first check mark today! Yeah!

I have my psych eval and she said everything was fine. Next week nutritionist and I can not get it to see the surgeon until the 22nd then Bariatrician on the 31st. These appointments are very hard to get.

When I scheduled mine, I just called and scheduled my pre-op and surgery date on the first call. No psych eval or anything. Since I'm having my surgery a couple hours from home, I did my pre-op blood work at my PCP's office. I'm scheduled for surgery on 6/3. Do you mind me asking what state you live in? Maybe the rules are different? Good luck to you! [emoji8]

My Insurance requires the Psych, Nutritionist and Surgeon. I would love to get this moving a little quicker. The Bariatrician was booked 1.5 months out. I am glad to get the extra information, but the waiting is getting old.

I wish my program was this stream lined.

Gotcha. That makes sense that your insurance requires it. Hey... at least they'll pay for it. Mine won't. I'm self pay. That's probably why it's streamlined.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
