So my only dilemma, which is truly a double entendre, is that I feel as though I have lost weight way too fast. I started at 304 lbs and in less than three months, I am already down 68 lbs, now at 236 lbs. 68!!! Which is so awesome, but very scary.

Doesn't sound too fast to me. You are exercising daily, like I am and that's surely helping. I'm 5 months post op and am down 141 pounds. (Started at 470)

I'm eight weeks out as of today, and I've lost almost 45 pounds. I haven't really had any stalls and I'm not going to be very happy when I do! I haven't started exercising yet because my blood pressure is pretty low and when I exert myself at all, I get very dizzy. I'm trying to drink more fluids but I have a very hard time getting in 64 ounces. In fact, I don't even get close to that in a day. My Protein intake is low as well. I'm not trying to not eat and drink, I just do as much as I can.

Hi, I had my RNY on July 2, 2013. In 6 months I went to my lowest weight of 117#'s. I averaged 20#'s per month. I started out at 249#'s (this time because I managed to lose down from 285#'s). I had 1 stall I guess that was what you would call it. I weighed in the morning and it said I was up 3#'s!! I thought what the hell!! But the next day I was down 4#'s. I had the 8# gain up to 125#'s and have maintained that weight for 3 years. My health is pretty darn great. I use to take 12 different medications. Insulin 2 times a day with 2 500mg of Metformin 2 times a day. I now take 4 precriptions with 3 being for my Blood Pressure and 1 for my thyroid. I am able to walk 4 miles 3 to 4 times a week. Hubby (who also had WLS June 2016) are joining a Health Club in May!!! I am realy excited about this one because hubby has never had any interest in exercising!! Good Luck with your journey. You are kickin your wt to the curb!! KEEP ON KEEPING ON!!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
