8am-8:30am premiere Protein Shakes (with lots of ice bananas or strawberries or both) every morning on my way to work...

10:30am-11am IF i'm hungry i will have Breakfast such as Special K Cereal w/fat free milk or 2 hard boiled eggs or fruit or yogurt (any kind make sure is low fat and the Protein is double digits)

1pm-2pm i have any type of progresso Soup (half cup) or lean cuisine or smart ones

if i crave a snack between lunch and dinner i will have sugar free apple sauce or pudding or peanuts or tuna pouches (they are low in calories , high in protein)

i drink as much Water as i can in between...not half hour before or after meals

7pm-8pm i will eat the other half of the soup or steamed veggies with chicken or fish....

i am working on more menus....

That seems to our monumental number. Someone said " I don't remember going over 200, but I really remember ducking under". Well said. And yes, memorable!!
Congratulations

Congrats!!!! I'm so hoping I get to see that ''1'' on my journey. I'll probably fall off the scale and break a hip. Go buy yourself something fabulous!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
