Light headed & dizzy after exercise activity

Recommended Posts

Hi all, I'm 14 months out, 145lbs down from starting at 286! In the past 3 months when I do something (like today I went bowling with the family, picked up the house and did laundry) I'm knocked on my butt, feeling dizzy and tired. From a DR's view everything is perfect, lab work, blood pressure. Has anyone experienced feeling like this? I was to be active and do things! This is so annoying!

How is your Fluid intake? I do know that my PCP thought it was my heart and did physical and medical induced test. Come to find out I was dehydrated. It happens. Just a trhought. Good Luck. Your weight loss has been awesome!!

In general, the three most important elements after RNY gastric bypass surgery are to meet your daily Protein, Fluid and Vitamin requirements. So a problem in any of these areas could cause your symptoms. For example, a lack of B12 can cause this. But since you got your labs back and they were good, that indicates that this may not be the problem area.

Another type of problem that could cause this is reactive hypoglycemia. Here is a link that describes this condition. https://www.ridgeviewmedical.org/services/bariatric-weight-loss/enewsletter-articles/reactive-hypoglycemia-postgastric-bypass/

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
