I am 6 days post op, and I ate half of a pint of egg drop Soup for dinner tonight. It went down okay, but I swear I can look down at my stomach and see a bulge right above my navel about the size of a small balloon.

I feel STUFFED. I know, I know I should not have eaten all of that Soup with egg. The egg was in tiny pieces, nothing to chew so I thought it would go right on down with the broth. I feel okay but am freaked about the bulge.

Has anyone else ever experienced this?:help:

Are you supposed to be on full fluids?

If so, I wouldn't worry about it.

I have been on full fluids now for two days, and tomorrow I can have oatmeal, veggie Soup, Beans. My worst fear is band slippage! I guess I

just panicked.

The vast majority of band slips are caused by repeated vomiting.

I don't think drinking soup is going to do that.
