It seems as though my gallbladder doesn't want to be friendly any longer.

My one month post-op bloodwork showed my bilirubin high. I have some pain, but nausea and gas are the main complaints. I'm being scheduled for an ultrasound, but it sounds like I'll be going under the knife again soon.

Has anyone else had this happen so soon after being sleeved?

It does happen. It's not incredibly common, but common enough to not be strange. Actually, a lot of surgeons go ahead and remove gall bladders at the same time they do RNY, just as a preemptive strike.
