Gas pains 3 weeks out

Hi guys, I was sleeved on Dec 14. On puréed foods now which I've been tolerating. Started New whey about a week ago and 5 days in, started getting very sharp gas pains making it hard to move. Dr's office said to back off the New Whey, which I have, but now the other Protein drinks are giving me the same problem (and I've been tolerating them since day 2) So I'm not getting much protein in at all. Is this something that subsides?

Are you feeling the gas pains in your abdominal region? Or are the gas pains in your shoulder/neck/back area?

What brand of protein drinks are you drinking? If your protein drinks have high fiber, that can be the cause.

Just abdominal region. I had absolutely no gas pains following surgery (this was my tenth surgery so unfortunately I know what those feel like lol) Dr has me on Slim Fast Advanced and the New Whey and I've also been having Powerful Yogurt (the Slim Fast has 20g of Protein and 5g of fiber. Powerful Yogurt has 20g of protein and zero fiber, and the New Whey is 42g of protein and doesn't mention fiber)
