I had my first fill 4 days ago. Since that time, I've noticed a pain under my left rib which radiates into my back. I'm pretty sure it's gas because I had the same pain for a couple of weeks after surgery and it went away. I'd like to know if this is fairly common after a fill. Does the stomach need to get "acclimated" to the restriction for a few days? I'm eating mushy foods until tomorrow - I don't really feel any restriction, but am careful about the amount I eat because I don't want to vomit or hurt myself in any way. I'm just wondering about the pain and if it's just part of the process.

I just got my fill a couple of days ago too. My doc told me to sit in the waiting room for about 30mins and drink water after the fill. She said don't leave if you feel any back, neck, chest, or throat pain; she said that if I did feel pain like that I might need some taken out. I didn't have any, but it sounds like you do. I did feel like I had alot of gas though, but no gas pain. Depending on how long it lasts, you might want to call your doc. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
