What is going on

Recommended Posts

I had my surgery on 10/17. Lost 9kg the first two weeks and that was that. Stalled up till now. I eat the recommended amounts, try to take in Water (1.5 litres) and Vitamins. Nothing is happening.

I know people say not to be bothered, but I can't help it. Its 3 weeks in a stall. Fact is I'm eating less, so what's going on. Am becoming demotivated.

Wht can I do?

Patience. Sounds like everyone has this stall. Mine lasted about 2 weeks, then I resumed losing weight at a steady rate and I'm melting away. Try NOT to weigh yourself every day.

I walked a bit. Starting up again tomorrow. Hopefully will improve. I did notice something yesterday. I drank half a litre more of Water and the scale moved a bit. So might be Water retention which is also contributing. Onwards and downwards...scale-wise ????

I've had a couple of one week stall periods. I'm on my third now. Are you food journaling? I find that helps, just a checkpoint to see if anything is different. Funny enough my last stall broke the day after I upped my calories. I was not great about getting all my Snacks in this past weekend, so I'm making sure I'm getting enough calories today. It will break. I'm willing to bet that you have lost some inches while you've been on your stall.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
