Banded 9/4...

Day two post-op. Just woke up a little bit ago. Slept much better last night than I had expected to. Had to have the loritab last night, its sooo NASTY but it helped me get a lot of rest. Feeling pretty good other than the gas pains that have settled in my left shoulder. If it weren't for that I would feel perfect. Will keep everyone posted. Time to get up and walk around a bit.

So how are you feeling now, are you still really bloated, I am. It seems the gas just does not want to move out. Other than that I feel good, not real hungry, still on broth & liquid, having some creamy potatoe or tomatoe today. I hate to say it but let me know about you gas? HaHaHa.

12 days post-op. Doing just fine. No problems with anything. On smooth diet but am eating some soft - well blended foods like hummus and chicken salad (more like pate consistency). But no problems. Go in for my first fill on October 10. I can't wait to begin a full fitness program, just walking right now. How are ou doing?

:hungry:Hi I am doing well, I am still doing liquid & moving to mushy foods this week. I made this great pot of vege stew with hamburger last night. It will be my first attempt at anything solid, but yet in a Soup. When can we start that exercise routine? I am down 35 pounds since I started this process & need to start moving. I tried riding my exercise bike but sill hurt, I will try again today.

They told me I could begin walking as soon as I felt able and to just listen to my body and do what I could. I can begin weights and Water aerobics 6wks post-op. I have been walking 2 - 3 miles everyday for the last week or so. SInce I have started my weight loss and stopped but my intake had not increased much. First fill is 10/9/07. When is yours?

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
