SHOPPING! (And enjoying it. And not for jewelry and shoes - because they don't depend on my size.)

Working out without pain.

Wearing shorts.

Feeling like people are seeing ME and not my weight.

Not having to rush past all mirrors for the fear of accidentally seeing myself and being horrified.

Hi. I am brand new to the site. I have a surgery date of 16 Dec 2016. I just found this list of what everyone is looking forward to .... really reinforced that I am making the right choice.

-Being able to shop at any store

-Wearing shorts

-My knee not clicking when I walk up the stairs

-Having more energy

-Being able to do squats without a wide-legged stance because of my belly

-Painting my toe nails without being in an odd position

-Being healthier to decrease current medial risks

Pretty much all of what nrdgrl said. And I will add:

Hiking and running with my husband.

Going out to eat and not feeling judged.

Reducing the risk of heart problems (runs in the family).

Yea not feeling like everybody thinks im a fat slob is definitely no 1 to me
