At 67 it was the best thing that my husband and I ever did for ourselves. Three years ago and we would do it again. Don't wait for the diabetes, sleep apnea, HBP and debilitating health problems. I am in the process of trying to get approved for VSG..I fight back and forth with wondering if it's right for me as well. I mostly think it's the part of me that's afraid to change that fights the thought of surgery. I'm pushing forward past those thoughts and trusting the other thoughts that say do it for you..I want to be healthy and be the best me I can be..surgery is the tool to help me accomplish it.

I was really scared at 67. It was 10 times easier than expected. Three years out and would do it again in a heartbeat!
