You can also order online from the store that I go to here in Vancouver, Washington. Fusevapor.com they can make custom flavors and offer free shipping if you order 2 or more items. I was browsing the website last night and seen that they also have a 25% off coupon code right now! Hopefully you're able to find something that works for you! Today is day 9 of being smoke free for me! I feel better and smell better lol! Good luck!

Wow, my surgeon actually let me keep vaping. I specifically asked him and he said it's fine. I asked because there was a part on one of the papers I had to sign for surgery where I had to agree not to smoke and I didn't sign it. I vaped right up till I walked in the hospital for surgery. No issues but maybe there is a reason for it?

I must be the odd man out here, my surgeon didn't do a nicotine test and knows I'm a smoker.

He said that with my age and BMI I wasn't a high risk patient and I should try to quit but it wasn't going to matter. Maybe because I was self pay? I know all docs are different.

I don't have any nicotine requirements but I quit in the 90's anyway.

Not sure about marijuana.

Has anybody's surgeries demanded a zero nic text just 12 days before surgery? I don't know what to do.

Sorry Surgeon

Yes my doctor requires a nicotine test but he told me up front at my initial appt so I had to quit. It is worth it though to regain our health and there are so many complications that can occur if you smoke before and after surgery since it affects your bodies ability to heal.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.
