Not sure on your area but we have numerous vape stores here..they carry all kind of flavors in 0 mg.. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  • @@mr1121 It's not uncommon. I've already had one test and I suspect they'll do another at my pre-admission testing. They take this very seriously and may cancel surgery if you test positive.

My surgeon said no nicotine at all..including gum or patch..I gradually decreased my nicotine while vaping and smoke 0 mg now. My surgeon is fine with vaping with no nicotine and it mentally works for

as long as u dont smoke you should be ok. you will probably get blood tested and will know your results by the time pre surgical testing is done

So if I don't smoke in the next week your saying? I do have Chantix but I end up vomiting

i think you'll be ok i was on chantix and a nicotine patch but only needed it for week. i wound up chewing gum like a maniac.

Mine required I stop all nicotine (smoking and/or vaping a month away from surgery). Just for reference, it took me 11 days of zero nicotine to clear. Just know they understand how difficult it is, and will work with you.

I started vaping and I'm glad I did! Quitting is never easy, this takes the edge off. Chantix makes me sick also. I wish you the best! The vapor tastes so clean and there are so many flavors! Just make sure you get a zero nicotine juice, if you decide to go this route! I was a smoker for 15 years, glad to be free of the dirty habit!

Most doctors check by urine and it can be detected for up to 20 days in urine
