I hope you can see this. My Windows10 upgraded yesterday and now Bariatric Pal site is a mess. I've lost the formatting.

You may have to see IT person

Mine upgraded and locked my system so bad I had to have set back to Windows 7.

This cost me 90 bucks, and IT told me this is a major issue that Microsoft is not doing anything about it.

When Microsoft began offering free upgrades, I asked a knowledgeable friend if I should click the "go for it" button. He told me that it's generally advised against upgrading from what was original to the computer; that it often doesn't go well. Then I saw the same advise in other quarters.

Last year when my Windows 8.1 PC upgraded to Win 10, it stuffed my mouse and many programs.

I battled with it for few hours, then got rid of that upgrade and went back to Win 8.1

I actually got to a stage that I had enough of hassles with PCs, and swapped to Apple Macbook Pro, and have been happy ever since!

I still have about 4 PCs laptops around, only use them for games now.

Good luck. I hope you can revert back to the previous version that worked for you. And remember to change the automatic Win 10 update, to never or to be asked if you want to install this update, because if you don't, Win 10 can download itself again!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
