I've been drinking one every morning for Breakfast because I realized I was only consuming 20 grams -tops (my surgery date is next month).

I decided to do this to get more Protein and form a habit.

I've turned into quite the mixologist.

My go-to fave so far is:

6-8 oz of warm Water (mixes better)

A single packet of Decaf instant coffee

1 scoop of choc Protein powder

1/3 frozen banana

Teaspoon of cocoa powder

Teaspoon of melty coconut oil

Blend.. and yum. I actually do this 15 min. before I want it or the night before and place it in the fridge to chill. I like the foam to go down first. Tonight it tasted like hot chocolate almost.

Cold is good too though.

Anyone else have any good ones? I know our tastes are all different but I need variety. Eventually I'll get sick of this one.

Might want to check with the surgeon, but I think the Decaf might be a no go, only because of the acid. Not sure, it is a question, not an absolute, but worth checking on. I just like chocolate no sugar powder from GNC, I'll put in some vanilla yogurt and some Peanut Butter powder. I started adding coffee after week 6.

Try premier protien chocolate premixed shakes! They are so good honest! They are mixed with Water they have 30 grams of protien in 11oz less than 1 sugar and 5 carbs oh and I think 160 calories my favorite flavors are the chocolate Carmel and banana. You can find them at Walmart Sam's club and Walgreens.

I have the same problem, I don't like any of the Protein Shakes I've tried. Would love to hear more options.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
