This post is just for rambling lol. I will be seventh months post op on the 12th. I have most 77 pounds to date and still see myself on a good day in my presurgery weight. I have been in a stall for about three weeks or so which has me a little bumped out but I know this will pass. One area that I am week on is exercise which is funny because I was a fitness instructor for ten years when I weighed over 250 pounds, go figure. Today I decided that I was going to change up my routine. Instead of packing my Breakfast and lunch I decided to stop for a cup of coffee (only have that on the weekends). Ordered some breakfast from a diner and planning to go out for a salad a lunch. I am feeling like a real rebel and renegade today. I will be eating on this breakfast for the next three mornings.

As time goes on you begin to slip into a good groove of what a "normal day" is and how to make adjustments and changes when needed. This is a lifestyle change and one must settle down and get comfortable with who you are and what a glorious gift of life that you have given yourself. Its not the complements from others or the "OMG you look great" comments that make me smile, its the fact that each day when I look at myself I prove to myself that I am worth it.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
