I am also scheduled for September 28! I have an EGD on the 19th and a dietician consultation on the 13th. Starting my liquid diet on September 14. Feeling excited and scared, ready for big changes but worried, too. Good luck to everyone and l look forward to sharing in your progress, and you all in mine.

Hi all, my sleeve is on Thursday 09.15.2016 and I am very excited. Currently I am on my 2 preop diet, it has not been really bad, but I can tell you that the first 2 days I had mild headache and felt lightheaded.

I'm feeling good! They actually moved my surgery so I had it done on August 30th instead. I was discharged on the 31st around 6 and got to go home and relax. The pain has been pretty manageable. Just trying to decipher what hungry feels like, with all the gurgling going on in there it's hard to know if I'm hungry.

My surgery date is next week, September 16!

I'm now on week 3 of the pre-op diet and very keen to get to my surgery day.

Like everyone else, I am super excited and a bit nervous as well.

Be cool to find another Brisbane September Sleever here but definitely happy to talk with everyone!!!

We have the same surgery day! I'm thankful I did not have to do the preop for 3 weeks. Two weeks is about all I can take lol. Good luck to you!

9/19 is my date as well

Hi all. I am 9/19/16. Anxious and ready. I am 48 year old and have battled pcos since my mid 20's.

Sw 276

Cw 269 (and not budging)

Goal. To eliminate all diabetes meds and improve my health. And of course want to lose some weight along the way.

My husband is getting sleeved too. He hasn't got his date yet but he is hoping for November.

Still waiting for the final approval from Cigna. But they set my date. Cigna not easy even with the uncontrolled diabetes. High blood pressure. Severe sleep apnea and pcos. First letter of denial because not medically necessity? Crazy! I KNOW it will get approved.

Glad to see some September sleepers out there. Live in and love this site.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
